Grandma had already seen the card I made for Selina & loved it so I thought I'd do something a little bit different for her this year as I usually end up doing bird of flowery water colours! She really liked the idea of sewing buttons to card & she obviously loves lace! I love pastel shades at the moment & particularly the delicate peach of the lace.
Graham's other sister Shelley also has her birthday on the 5th of October. This is the card I made for her, simple yet feminine. I particularly like the delicate green stitch around the edge of the floral heart.
Graham's sister Selina (my new sister!) likes 'old lady things' just like me, so I thought stitch, lace & buttons would be a good combination for this delicate card! She loved it!
I also customized some little cupcake socks & added lace round the top of them because Selina likes some of mine that I'd done this to. They look really cute :)
